Many economically disadvantaged families are unable to arrange marriages for their daughters and sisters due to financial struggle.
UWT (Pak) has tried its best through its intervention to provide the minimum necessary expenditure for the marriages of most-deserving girls.
Through Marriage Grant project UWT(Pak) effectively disbursed Marriage Grants (PKR 200,000) (Cross Cheque in the name of beneficiary-girl or her mother only) each to 24 Girls (Orphaned) of marriageable age across parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan.
The project will guarantee that the targeted beneficiaries (girls of marriageable age) receive much-need cash-based support which will enable their families to arrange their marriage ceremonies.
