Cataract Surgery

Across the world, 2.2 billion people have a visual impairment or blindness from causes that are treatable or preventable.

Over the years, UWT (Pak) had effectively performed thousands of cataract surgeries across Pakistan essentially giving people back their lost vision and a life-line.

Through this project, UWT (Pak) is assisting some of the most underprivileged and vulnerable people with eye-related complications by organizing free eye camps and providing them access to much needed eye-care.

The gift of sight is a great blessing from Allah, Glory be to Him. Donors can give their Zakah, Sadaqah and Lillah for this noble project – one which helps restore sight to our elderly mothers and fathers.
