Ummah Welfare Trust (Pak) intended a unique cash-based compensatory intervention in form of Hardship Support project for providing much-needed financial support to the most deserving and needy families for strengthening their coping strategies.
Under the propose project, UWT (Pak) project teams will provide the required amount as financial assistance to the selected most deserving and lower-income families for reducing the effects of financial poverty and impoverishment from their lives.
The proposed project will reduce vulnerability of benefited beneficiaries as follow;
- The beneficiaries will be enabled to pay their outstanding debts which they had borrowed but now they do not have any resources to re-pay their debts due to their exiting financial vulnerabilities offering them a hope for a better life.
- Those who are suffering from chronic ill-ness will be supported through this project as unavailability of required funds are not allowing them to afford expensive medical check-ups, treatment, medication for avoiding further deterioration to their health-status.
- Most appropriate and timely financial support will be provided to the targeted poor and needy families inside the proposed areas through this project.
UWT (Pak) project teams will supervise distribution-to-distribution activities of entire Hardship Support project for implementing a result-oriented project with maximum preset targets accomplishment and desired financial support delivery.
Zakah, Sadaqah and Lillah can be given for this unique project to support our unprivileged brothers and sisters.
