Ummah College of Technology

Ummah College of TechnologyThe Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘No one ever eats anything better than that which he earned with his own hands. The Prophet of Allah, Dawud ‘alayhis-salaam, used to eat that which he had earned with his own hands.’

(Sahih al Bukhari)

Millions of unskilled youth in Pakistan are marginalised and poor. With few opportunities for employment or to create their own work, they have little chance of changing their circumstances.

In response to the poverty and degradation that many young Pakistanis find themselves in, Ummah Welfare Trust has opened a free technical college in Nowshera.

The college offers free training and accredited courses to poor adolescents, allowing them to develop the skills and confidence to earn for themselves and their families in the future.

The two-year courses offered include: carpentry, surveying, CAD and electrical training. Alhamdulillah, students are taught to a proficient level, and upon graduation are ready to work in full-time employment.

The college, named The Ummah College for Technology, will empower disadvantaged youth and help them to improve their and their families’ prospects, inshaAllah.

You can support this unique college by supporting the running costs with your Sadaqah and Lillah.
