Ummah Welfare Trust (Pak) is implementing a spiritual well-being intervention under the Dawah project in form of Holy Quran distribution, where 28,865 copies of the Holy Quran will be distributed among children completing their Hifdh as well as Nazira courses in various Makatib/Madrassah across several regions of Afghanistan.
Uptill now Quran distribution in 15 Madaris have been completed while further distribution is in progress among the remaining selected Madaris.
The Holy Quran distribution will deliver a vital education-based support as follow;
- 19,045 students (boys) currently completing their Nazira/Hifz courses in various Madrassahs will be enabled to have their own copies of the Holy Quran to learn their lessons on daily basis without any interruption.
- 9,820 students (girls) currently completing their Hifdh/Nazira courses in various Madrassahs will be enabled to have their own copies of the Holy Quran to memorize their lessons on daily basis without any interruption.
Most-deserving and poor students including both boys and girls will be provided with their own copies of the Holy Quran across selected 40 Madrassahs.
